Secretary General Chartwell is a character appearing in Season 1 of Space: Above and Beyond and the various tie-in books and comic books.
He is portrayed by actor Bill Hunter.
Biography[]
Spencer Chartwell was the Secretary General of the United Nations and Commander in Chief of Earth Forces during the Chig War. After the massacre of the Vesta and Tellus colonies, he addressed the world to inform them that they were at war with an unknown alien race.[1]
Earth Forces Insignia
In 2063 Secretary Chartwell was assassinated by an In Vitro while attending a United Nations celebration. His body was laid to rest at the Chartwell Ranch near Canberra in Australia, his home county.[2]
