Howard Sewell is a recurring character appearing in Season 1 of Space: Above and Beyond.
He is portrayed by actor Michael Mantell.
Biography[]
Howard Sewell is a board member and scientist working for AeroTech.[1] He is deeply involved in supporting Earth Forces in the Chig War, lobbying for AeroTech to receive captured Chig technology in order to exploit it.[2]. It is not clear if he has the best interests of Earth as his priority or those of AeroTech. It is suspected that he knows more about the Chigs than he tells or provides to the military.
He covered up the illegal rescue mission of Nathan West and the others on Tellus. Additionally he was the one who organized the successful rescue mission on Kazbek in his successful quest to obtain organic ore there.
He was killed by a Silicate together with others in his attempt to destroy the Sewell Fuel Missile for the Chigs.[3]
